MCS-HORIZON CAMBRIDGE

Ministry training in Ontario is making an exciting transition to a balanced and rich experience for you as a student – one that includes a strong focus on your spiritual growth, theological vitality and leadership development.

LEARN. SERVE. GROW.

MCS-HORIZON CAMBRIDGE is a hub site learning destination, based out of Calvary Assembly.  Calvary is a multi-campus church in the Waterloo Region of Ontario.  Our main campus is in Cambridge, and our three other campuses are Calvary Ayr, Calvary Kitchener, and Calvary En Español. Our church vision is four-fold: CHRIST | CELEBRATION | COMMUNITY | CAUSE.

When you complete your studies at our location, our hope is that you do not just leave with an education, but with deep spiritual formation, a resume of opportunities across multiple ministry fields, and a deep well of wisdom and investment from your mentorship sessions.

At which location will learning and study take place?

The majority of classes and learning will primarily take place at our Cambridge Campus.

Can I come for a visit?

Yes! We would love for you to visit our church on a Sunday, or book a time during the week for a site tour and to meet some of our staff.  Email us: study@mycalvary.life.

Hour many hours are required for serving and mentorship each week?

Students will typically engage in a minimum of 7-10 hours of ministry and mentoring per week, including ministry during Sunday services or other service times.

The church will offer flexibility to both part-time and full-time students on a case-by-case basis as it relates to course load requirements or unique personal circumstances which would warrant an adjustment of ministry hours on a given week.

The church encourages students to take on more ministry hours than the required minimum listed above, in order to grow in experience, to be able to gain familiarity and capacity in areas of ministry outside of their chosen track, and to become equipped in an array of ministry contexts and environments.

Do you offer any housing options?

MCS-Horizon Cambridge does not offer any housing options, however we are happy to assist connecting students to potential housing options, as they come available and to our attention.
